Because everyone’s experiences, challenges, situations, and goals are unique, there is no one single therapeutic approach that is sure to work for everyone. The most effective therapeutic techniques are those that draw upon a variety of counseling theories to address an individual’s own unique needs and challenges and create a personalized treatment plan specifically designed with that individual client in mind.  These approaches may include (but are not limited to):
  • Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and changing negative thought patterns
  • Humanistic Therapy
Focusing on the present experience and growth
  • Person-Centered/Rogerian Therapy
Empowering the individual to identify their barriers and discover their own solutions
  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy
    Promoting awareness and acceptance
  • Solution-Focused Brief  Therapy
Identifying and building on current strengths and resources
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Accepting and letting go of unhealthy thoughts and emotions

Individual Therapy

One of the most important human needs is the need to feel seen, heard, and understood.  No matter who you are, what you've been through, or what you're struggling with, individual therapy can provide you with a safe space to openly express your true thoughts and emotions without the fear of judgement.  Feeling supported and understood can be a powerful catalyst for change.  Speaking your truth can be difficult, but it can also help you to live a happier, healthier, and more authentic existence.  You are already an amazing person worthy of love and respect and you deserve to feel that way.  The goal of therapy is to help you identify and change whatever it is that's still holding you back from living your best life and becoming the very best version of yourself that you can be.

  • Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying and changing negative thought patterns

  • Humanistic Therapy – Focusing on the present experience and growth

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy – Promoting awareness and acceptance

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy – Identifying and building on current strengths and resources

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy – Accepting and letting go of unhealthy thoughts and emotions
